ON / OFF switch
The on / off switch is somewhat misleading:

Making coffee

Never pour in water without really making coffee immediately afterwards. Nobody wants to clean up a mess before making their own coffee! |
| Place the empty coffee pot on the machine without the pumping rod. Turn on the machine now. With this procedure you can avoid that water spills on the counter. |
Put a coffee filter in the filter pan. |

| Add 8 measuring spoons of coffee to the coffee filter. | Attach the filter pan to the machine. |

| Fill the provided measuring cup with water to the 2 litres mark. | Pour the content of the measuring cup into the machine. |

| When the coffee has finished cooking, stir the coffee vigorously with the pump stick and then place it in the pot and close the lid. | If you want to maintain the machine reasonably well after cooking, remove the filter pan and use a paper towel to remove the condensation above. |
